Launched through a collaboration between the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) and the Information Technologies and Internet Security Association (BTİDER), the Safe Internet Truck continues to meet with students in Ankara.
The Safe Internet Truck was established to provide children with limited access to technology with opportunities to benefit from it, while raising awareness among children who are already familiar with technology about the conscious, safe and effective use of the internet. On 2 March 2018, the project visited students at Osman Gazi Secondary School in Ankara’s Altındağ district.
The Safe Internet Truck offers children and young people a highly beneficial, entertaining and inspiring experience. Created for those who have not had the opportunity to discover new technologies in the right environment and in the right way, the Safe Internet Truck project will continue visiting schools across Ankara and throughout Türkiye.
