On Safer Internet Day, 10 February, we came together at the Information and Communication Technologies Authority with children and young people who are consciously shaping the digital world of the future. 🌐✨
As BTİDER, we were delighted to take part in this meaningful event.
Through workshops and interactive activities specially prepared for students by TikTok, Google, Meta, BTİDER, SİBERAY, the Association of Access Providers and GİT, children learned about internet safety by experiencing, questioning and having fun. They explored their rights, responsibilities and safe behaviours in the digital world.
At the official programme, attended by Ömer Abdullah Karagözoğlu, President of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority, and Dr Ömer Fatih Sayan, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye, the participation of our Chairman, Ömer Faruk Sorgun, strongly emphasised that the safe, ethical and responsible use of the internet is a shared social responsibility.
Every step taken here today contributes to a safer digital world tomorrow.
